Funded Hours

• Term-time only funding
• Allows families to use their child's funded childcare hours during school term times only, rather than spreading them across the whole year.

This means:

• 15 hours funding is typically available as 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year.
• 30 hours funding is typically available as 30 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year.
• This option can be particularly suitable for families who only require childcare during school term times and wish to access their full weekly funded entitlement.

• If you require more hours than your funded entitlement covers, additional sessions and hours can be booked at our standard nursery rates, subject to availability. This provides flexibility for families whose childcare needs vary throughout the week. Our team will be happy to discuss your individual requirements and help create a booking pattern that works best for your family.

• A stretched funding place allows families to spread their funded hours across more weeks of the year, rather than using them only during school term times. This means children can attend nursery more consistently throughout the year, helping to provide continuity of care and learning.

For example:

• 15 funded hours can be stretched across the year to approximately 11 hours per week for 51 weeks.
• 30 funded hours can be stretched across the year to approximately 22 hours per week for 51 weeks.

Additional Hours

• If you require more hours than your funded entitlement covers, additional sessions and hours can be booked at our standard nursery rates, subject to availability. This provides flexibility for families whose childcare needs vary throughout the week. Our team will be happy to discuss your individual requirements and help create a booking pattern that works best for your family.
